FAIR Field Data Logger: Embedding FAIR principles and persistent identifiers into open environmental sensing hardware

Join this interactive networking session to help shape the FAIR Field Data Logger: an open-source, FAIR-by-design platform for environmental sensing.

AULA 01.220 - Foyer Noord

We invite researchers, research software and hardware engineers, data stewards, citizen science practitioners, and infrastructure providers to discuss challenges and opportunities around implementing FAIR environmental sensing, persistent identifiers (PIDs) for hardware and deployments, metadata standards, and interoperability across research infrastructures by design. Rather than focusing on formal presentations, the session will facilitate open discussions to exchange experiences, identify shared use cases, gather requirements, and explore collaborations. Participants will gain insight into the project, contribute to its future development, and help build a community around open, interoperable environmental sensing technologies.
