Biography

Dr. Anneke Zuiderwijk is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Technology, Policy, and Management at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. Her research focuses on open data and more specifically on the development, testing and application of theory that explains how, why and when open data sharing and use can be incentivized for specific actors (researchers, governments, companies, citizens), from specific domains and disciplines. Anneke also examines which combinations of infrastructural and institutional arrangements can stimulate open data sharing and use. Anneke participates in TU Delft’s Data Champions Program and is co-founder of the free online course “Open Science: Sharing your Research with the World” in which more than 1,500 persons from over 100 countries participated in the past two years.
