Esther Plomp

Esther Plomp is a PhD student at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) and a Data Steward at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands. Her PhD research at the VU focuses on the chemical composition of human teeth, which may reveal where someone grew up when their teeth were formed. This isotopic signature can be used to examine human mobility in modern and ancient societies. As a Data Steward at TU Delft, Esther supports other researchers with their data and code management to make their workflows more efficient and reproducible, and facilitates them in making their data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable).
