Curtis is currently Project Coordinator for the NWO (Dutch Research Council) funded project "Enabling FAIR for AI", which aims to set new standards for trust and transparency in research software, focusing on ML and AI models. He has extensive experience leading international Open Science projects and is very active in the European and Global OS community , currently serving as a member of the Research Data Alliance Technical Advisory Board. He is also co-chair of the FAIR4ML IG member of several other RDA working groups and interest groups.
