Martin Klomp is a Lecturer at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands with over 10 years of industry experience before transitioning to higher education. His mission is to inspire young learners to engage with science, technology, and robotics through hands-on learning experiences. He develops and coordinates educational initiatives in robotics and STEM education, ranging from university programmes to outreach activities for primary and secondary education. He initiated the MIRTE programme, an open educational initiative that brings robotics and technology education to learners of all ages and backgrounds. The programme and its educational innovations were recognized with the Dutch Education Award. His interests focus on engineering education, open education, robotics, and technology outreach.
