Tanya is a PhD candidate at Leiden University. Her research focuses on the political economic factors that advance or hinder the progress of the Open Research Information movement. Tanya also serves on the board of the national PhD interest group where she visits various research universities and university medical centers throughout the Netherlands to collaboratively rethink the assessment of PhD trajectories. This board role is supported by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science.
