On Wednesday 14 October 2026, the annual National Open Science Festival will take place, this year at TU Delft. At this festival, researchers and other interested parties can learn more about open science, exchange experiences and find inspiration for applying open science in daily practice.
Register as a participant
From 7 May 2026, you can register as a participant for free. Registration for participants will close once the maximum capacity has been reached. Thereafter, interested individuals may register for a place on the waiting list. Please note: we also ask those submitting a proposal for a contribution to register as a participant.
Note: the event is completely sold out every year. If you’re unable to attend after all, please cancel your booking so we can make someone on the waiting list happy. To prevent no-shows as much as possible, we’re using a no-show list this year. If you don’t show up without cancelling, you won’t be able to register for future editions
Call for contributions
From 7 May 2026, it will also be possible to submit a proposal for a workshop, lightning talk, networking session, poster session, information stand or any other good idea. You can submit a proposal no later than 14 June 2026 by 23:59 CEST. The programme committee will review the proposals in July and notify applicants in August whether their contribution will be included in the festival.
